Your role

Are you gifted at assessing value and risk? Do you love to give advice, as well as educate? We’re looking for someone like that who can:
• Conduct company research and valuation analysis on listed Korean companies in the Telecommunications, Gaming and Entertainment sectors
• Analyze industry trends, competitive dynamics, user engagement metrics, monetization models, and regulatory developments to develop differentiated investment views
• Compare valuation and market price to draw sensible and understandable investment opinions
• Build and maintain historical and forecast financial models, incorporating key sector-specific drivers such as domestic AI/DC investment outlook, ARPU, subscriber growth, game pipelines and artist pipelines
• Provide investment recommendations based on modeling, valuation, and risk assessments in an effective and convincing manner
• Develop and maintain cooperative professional relationships with investors, company management teams, and industry participants
• Remain current on technology, telecom, gaming, and digital platform developments to help frame investment strategies

Your team

You’ll be working with the Equity Research team in Seoul, Korea. The team is hard working but fun loving. We deliver coordinated research perspectives across sectors, regions, and geographies to help our clients in their investment decision-making process.

Your expertise

You have:
• At least 4–5 years of experience as a research analyst in investment management, equity research, or investment banking, preferably covering the Telecommunications, Gaming, Entertainment or Technology sectors
• A strong understanding of accounting and financial statement analysis
• Experience evaluating business models driven by digital platforms, online advertising, subscriptions, telecom infrastructure, content, and gaming ecosystems
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
• Solid know-how of Microsoft Excel
• Korean investment advisory/management license required
• CFA preferred

You are:
• An excellent communicator, able to educate through the creation of innovative research reports and presentations
• Inquisitive, organized, and able to work independently
• Passionate about technology, digital services, gaming, telecommunications, and evolving consumer behavior
• Fluent in Korean and English
• Able to translate complex industry developments into actionable investment insights for clients and stakeholders
• you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
