Your role

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in financial markets and data analysis? We're looking for an Intern to join our Fund Transparency Team and support our daily and monthly activities. You'll have the opportunity to learn how transparency monitoring supports credit risk management while working with a global hedge fund portfolio.
You will support the maintenance of hedge fund transparency databases and data repositories
• assist in collecting, validating, and updating fund performance and transparency information
• identify missing, overdue, or inconsistent data and support investigations into data quality issues
• perform data checks and help ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of transparency records
• maintain clear documentation supporting team processes and controls
• support Credit Officers and Credit Analysts with portfolio monitoring and reporting activities
• contribute to process improvement, automation and data quality initiatives

Your team

The Fund Transparency Team operates within IB Credit Risk Control to ensure accurate, complete, and timely transparency data, supporting credit decision-making and regulatory requirements across a global hedge fund portfolio. The team supports global Credit Officers and enables informed credit risk decision-making through strong data governance, control execution, and process oversight.

Your expertise

• high attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• comfortable working with large datasets and Excel
• effective written and verbal communication skills in English
• ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• willingness to learn about financial markets, hedge funds, and credit risk management
Nice to have:
• knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI, Alteryx, or Power Automate
• interest in process improvement, automation, and AI-enabled solutions
• curiosity about how technology can improve data quality, reporting, and operational efficiency
• can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency.
