Your role
Would you like to work on complex fund structuring projects across jurisdictions and alternative asset classes, including hedge funds, private markets and real assets?
We are looking for someone like that to support us with the below responsibilities:
• Structuring & Execution
o support the design and implementation of new international feeder and multi-manager structures (e.g. Cayman, Ireland, Luxembourg, US)
o contribute to structuring solutions for investments into US and non-US underlying strategies (e.g. BDCs, hedge funds, private markets funds)
• Product Development & Documentation
o support preparation of product documentation (e.g. term sheets, offering documents)
o ensure alignment with internal governance and risk frameworks
• Stakeholder Coordination
o act as a key interface between portfolio management, legal, tax, distribution and external service providers
o support discussions with internal stakeholders and senior management on structuring topics
• GWM Platform Onboarding
o assist in onboarding third-party and in-house alternative solutions onto the GWM Platform
o manage counterparty relationships during onboarding
o implement contractual arrangements and arrange internal operational set-up.
Please note that due to continued growth of the platform, we are looking for a temporary Product Structuring Specialist in Zurich to support the team until December 2027 on a fixed-term contract.

Your team
You’ll be working in the UGA Structuring team based in Zurich. The UGA Structuring Team is part of the Unified Global Alternatives (UGA) business which integrated the alternatives manager selection franchises from two divisions, UBS Asset Management and UBS Global Wealth Management (total USD ~344bn of invested assets). Our part of the Structuring team is primarily responsible for international perpetual products, custom mandate solutions and GWM (Global Wealth Management) Platform onboarding of alternative investment structures across UGA’s five investment verticals: Hedge Funds, Private Credit, Real Estate, Private Equity, Infrastructure and UGA Solutions.
Your expertise
• preferably, university degree in law, finance, economics or a related field
• relevant experience in structuring, product development, legal, or alternative investments
• experience with international investment fund structures (e.g. Cayman, Ireland, Luxembourg, US) is highly desirable
• strong understanding of investment funds and alternative asset classes
• familiarity with regulatory frameworks affecting fund structures (US and/or international)
• ability to analyze complex legal and structural concepts and translate them into practical solutions
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• high level of attention to detail and ownership
• ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams
• team player with strong communication skills
• fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
• You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
