We’re looking for a Senior Specialist Financial Crime Prevention – AML/KYC to:

• Serve as a senior subject matter expert and trusted advisor for AML/KYC, providing high-level consulting, strategic guidance, and thought leadership to stakeholders across the organization.
• Lead comprehensive risk assessments and ad-hoc reviews, defining and implementing effective remediation measures to strengthen processes, controls, and systems.
• Oversee and coordinate audit management activities, including the closure of remediation actions, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Drive the documentation, optimization, and continuous improvement of AML/KYC-relevant processes, supporting operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
• Take ownership of regulatory change management for AML and related areas, ensuring the seamless implementation of new requirements and supporting the organization in adapting to evolving regulatory landscapes.
• Communicate complex topics clearly and persuasively, preparing high-impact PowerPoint presentations and management updates for senior audiences.
• Deliver targeted guidance and training to the Front Office and other stakeholders, fostering a culture of compliance and risk awareness.

Your expertise

• university degree in business, law, compliance, or a related field
• several years of senior-level experience in AML/KYC, financial crime prevention, or compliance within the financial services industry
• proven track record as a consultant or advisor, with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• in-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry best practices in AML and KYC
• demonstrated expertise in audit management and regulatory liaison
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process optimization and strategic thinking
• excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare high-impact PowerPoint presentations and management updates for senior audiences
• advanced project management capabilities, ideally with experience in transformation or digitalization initiatives
• proactive, collaborative, and structured approach to work, with a high level of personal initiative and leadership
• fluency in English; good German language skills
• advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
