Are you energised by understanding user needs and helping turn ideas into products that deliver real value? Do you enjoy working closely with teams to solve problems, coordinate delivery, and continuously improve the employee experience?
We are looking for a motivated and delivery-focused Product Manager to join the GHRCS Product & Innovation Organisation within the Employee Journey Stream. This is a business-side product role, working closely with an engineering and technology counterpart, supporting the successful delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement of a variety of employee facing products.
You will play a key role within a cross-functional pod, helping translate business priorities and user needs into deliverable outcomes. Working alongside senior Product Managers, you will contribute to product discovery, roadmap execution, user adoption, and ongoing product evolution.
Key responsibilities
Product discovery & analysis
• Support product discovery activities by gathering user feedback, conducting research, and analysing data to understand problems and opportunities.
• Work with users, SMEs, UX and other stakeholders to capture requirements and validate proposed solutions.
• Use product, operational, and adoption data to identify improvements and support decision-making.
• Contribute insights and recommendations to support the development of product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
Delivery & execution
• Translate priorities into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
• Support backlog management, refinement sessions, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure requirements are understood and delivery remains aligned to business objectives.
• Track progress against roadmap commitments, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and blockers.
• Coordinate across business and technology teams to support successful delivery outcomes.
• Support release planning and implementation activities to ensure smooth deployment of new functionality.
Quality, testing & incident management
• Coordinate testing activities, including test planning, user acceptance testing, defect triage, and sign-off.
• Ensure quality considerations are embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support incident management processes, including issue investigation, impact assessment, stakeholder communication, and resolution tracking.
• Monitor product performance and operational health, escalating issues where appropriate.
Adoption & continuous improvement
• Support launch readiness activities, partnering with change, communications, and training teams.
• Monitor product adoption and user engagement, identifying opportunities to increase value realisation.
• Gather feedback post-launch and translate insights into product improvements.
• Help ensure products continue to meet user and business needs following implementation.
Stakeholder management & ways of working
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders across GHRCS and Technology.
• Communicate delivery progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes in a clear and structured way.
• Champion agile product ways of working and contribute positively to team culture and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with senior Product Managers, seeking opportunities to develop product management capability and expertise.
