Your role
Are you solution-oriented, self-motivated, detail-focused, and driven, with the ability to make informed decisions based on your own analysis?
In this role within the IB Business Risk Management – Travel and Expense Team, you will:
•manage day-to-day Travel and Expense operations, prioritizing requests and ensuring timely delivery of business objectives
•review, process, and approve employee expense reports while ensuring compliance with company policies and controls
•provide exceptional employee support by resolving inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and guiding expense report submissions
•educate employees on Travel and Expense policies while communicating updates and policy changes effectively
•partner with team members and control functions to review expense claims and support governance requirements
•ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately, on time, and aligned with team priorities and service standards.
•identify and implement process improvements, leveraging automation, AI, and technology to enhance efficiency and employee experience
•support reporting and business insights by analyzing trends, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement opportunities

You will join the Travel and Expense Team in Nashville, TN, which plays a critical role in ensuring employees have a seamless experience managing travel arrangements and expense reporting. Our focus on detail and compliance supports the success and reputation of UBS.
Your expertise
•ideally 0-2+ years of experience in financial services, operations, administration, employee support, or a business management support role.
•strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
•ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
•strong problem solving, organizational, and attention to detail skills
•interest in process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency
•curiosity and willingness to explore AI and technology driven solutions
•proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
•experience with Concur, Power BI, Alteryx, or other automation tools is a plus
•you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
