Your role

Are you passionate about delivering innovative SAP Finance solutions and driving large-scale transformation programs?

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA development, integrations, and extensibility to support global finance transformation and SAP implementation programs. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting scalable SAP solutions while adhering to Clean Core principles and SAP best practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP solutions across SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
• Build and enhance custom applications, reports, interfaces, forms, workflows, and extensions using modern SAP development frameworks.
• Develop and support integrations with SAP and non-SAP applications using APIs, EDI, OData services, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, SAP BTP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, and other cloud integration services.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support SAP Fiori/UI5 development and integration with S/4HANA applications.
• Participate in end-to-end project activities including design, development, testing, cutover, go-live, and production support.
• Maintain version control, code repositories, documentation, and software artifacts.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize system performance.
• Ensure adherence to Clean Core and extensibility standards within SAP S/4HANA.

Your team

You'll be working within UBS Finance Technology, joining a global dynamic scrum team of Business & Technical Analysts. We are supporting local and global projects for various business units of UBS AG. Our mission: to find solutions for strategic business challenges, analysis of current processes and functionalities, implementing best in class solutions for customers and UBS business.

Your expertise

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, including at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
• Strong expertise in ABAP OO, ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, OData Services, Fiori integrations, Enhancements Framework, IDocs, BAPIs, ALE/EDI, and SAP Workflow.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA development, SAP BTP, Integration Suite, Event Mesh, and RESTful ABAP Programming Model.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, UI5, UML, APIs, web services, and modern integration patterns.
• Good understanding of HANA code pushdown techniques and modern SAP architecture.
• Experience working in Agile/global delivery teams using SDLC practices.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, domain-driven design, and modern technical architecture.
• Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms is preferred.
• Strong analytical, debugging, communication, collaboration, and coaching skills.
• Experience of working in Financial Services industry, and SAP S/4HANA technical certifications is preferred
