Your role

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Project Accounting and Controlling to support enterprise-wide finance transformation and S/4HANA implementation programs. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing project-based financial processes while ensuring alignment with SAP Best Practices and Clean Core principles.

Key Responsibilities
• lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and gather business requirements for Project Accounting processes.
• design and configure SAP Project System (PS), Internal Orders, Cost Center Accounting, and project-related financial controls.
• implement end-to-end project lifecycle processes including project planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, revenue recognition, settlement, and reporting.
• drive business process standardization, testing, data migration, cutover, go-live, and post-production support activities.
• collaborate with Finance, PMO, Procurement, and Business teams to deliver integrated project accounting solutions.
• support integration with Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Procurement, Time & Expense, and external project management systems.
• leverage SAP Fiori, Universal Journal (ACDOCA), and embedded analytics to enhance project financial visibility and decision-making.
• provide Level 3 production support and drive continuous improvements in project cost management and reporting.

You'll be working within UBS Finance Technology, joining a global dynamic scrum team of Business & Technical Analysts. We are supporting local and global projects for various business units of UBS AG. Our mission: to find solutions for strategic business challenges, analysis of current processes and functionalities, implementing best in class solutions for customers and UBS business.

Your expertise

Required experience & skills
• 10+ years of SAP Finance/Controlling experience with strong expertise in Project System (PS), Internal Orders, and Project Accounting.
• minimum 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations; Greenfield implementation experience preferred.
• strong knowledge of project budgeting, forecasting, cost allocations, settlements, WBS structures, profitability analysis, and financial reporting.
• experience with data migration, cutover planning, and finance process transformation.
• working knowledge of SAP Fiori, Universal Journal, APIs, IDocs, and SAP integrations.
• strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and global cross-functional teams.
