UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking a Director, Software Engineer in Morrisville, NC

We’re looking for a Director, Software Engineer to:
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft technologies (Azure, C# .NET, Blazor, WPF), web technologies (Angular, HTML/CSS), and databases (Oracle, Sybase). Define, implement, and maintain the system architecture for the margin booking platform.
• Conduct regular design reviews, promote best practices, and mentor team members to ensure high-quality software development. DevOps principles and best practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Plan deliverables, manage execution, and evaluate outcomes to ensure timely and successful project completion. Identify and resolve complex technical issues efficiently, while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with business and IT teams to translate requirements into innovative technical solutions and enable new architectures. Manage expectations on product development, functional coverage, and acceptance testing through regular governance meetings.
• Can work hybrid (In-office/remote).

Salary & Work Schedule: $159,000/year, 40 hrs/wk. This notice is being posted in connection with an application for permanent Alien Labor Certification. Your expertise

Education & Experience Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (Any), Technology, or a related field of study plus 10 years of experience in the job offered or 10 years of experience as a Manager Projects, Program, Analyst, or a related occupation.

Position requires experience with the following:
• C#; .NET; Blazor; Angular; Java; Sybase; Oracle; HashiCorp tools; Microsoft Azure; Repo and OTC Collateral business processes; DevOps practices; platform modernization leveraging cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
