We are looking for someone like that who can:
• support governance and risk management processes and UBS' ability to maintain effective controls.
• ensure reliability and integrity of financial and operational information.
• understand risks associated with delivery area and apply this knowledge to processes/metrics/outputs.
• exercise professional judgement in the performance of work.
• support Digital Transformation through the re-imagining of how we work, and how we bring our services to UBS's clients. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• review, validate, and book trades across Equities
• daily controls & reconciliations (positions, cash, ledgers) with rigorous exception management and fail control

Your team
You’ll be working in GWM Operations team based in Sao Paulo. The Operations Product team works in the middle office and has a deep technical understanding of their particular products, the economic components, and the lifecycle from an operational perspective.
Your expertise
• bachelor’s degree and + years of equivalent work experience
• strong understanding of the trade lifecycle (order initiation → allocation/confirmation → settlement), and downstream impacts
• proven experience in controls and reconciliations, break resolution, exception handling, and fail control in high volume settings
• proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel (pivots, lookups; VBA a plus);
• fluent Portuguese (listen, written and spoken) and strong English communication skills, with clear written documentation and concise verbal updates across time zones
• self-motivated, embracing lean and innovative problem-solving methodologies
• highly attentive to detail and accuracy, with disciplined follow through
• analytical and pragmatic, demonstrating sound risk-based judgment under pressure
• you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
