Key responsibilities

Are you passionate about delivering innovative SAP Finance solutions and driving large-scale transformation programs? We're looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Fixed Assets (Asset Accounting) and Accruals Management to join our Finance Technology team.

In this role, you'll play a key part in designing and implementing scalable finance processes aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices and Clean Core principles. You'll work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver efficient asset lifecycle and accrual management solutions, supporting strategic transformation initiatives across the organization and will be responsible to:

• lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and gather business requirements for Fixed Assets and Accruals processes
• design, configure and implement SAP S/4HANA New Asset Accounting (FI-AA), including acquisition, capitalization, transfers, depreciation, retirement and reporting
• configure and support SAP S/4HANA Accrual Engine capabilities, including PO-based, Service Entry Sheet (SES)-based and recurring accrual processes
• drive end-to-end project activities including process standardization, testing, data migration, cutover planning, go-live and hypercare support
• lead migration activities for asset master data, depreciation values, balances and historical records from legacy platforms and SAP ECC
• own and execute cutover planning, including blackout-period management and mid-year asset and transaction migrations
• collaborate across Finance, Procurement, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Project Systems and RE-FX teams to deliver integrated business solutions
• support SAP Fiori adoption and leverage S/4HANA innovations such as Universal Journal and embedded analytics
• provide Level 3 production support while driving continuous improvement and optimization initiatives

You'll be working within UBS Finance Technology, joining a global dynamic scrum team of Business & Technical Analysts. We are supporting local and global projects for various business units of UBS AG. Our mission: to find solutions for strategic business challenges, analysis of current processes and functionalities, implementing best in class solutions for customers and UBS business.

Your skills and experience

• experience as an SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant with strong expertise in Fixed Assets (FI-AA) and Accruals Management
• hands-on experience implementing SAP S/4HANA New Asset Accounting, including asset lifecycle management and reporting
• strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Accrual Engine functionality, including purchase order, service-based and recurring accrual processes
• experience leading Fit-to-Standard workshops, business process design, testing, data migration and cutover activities
• proven experience migrating asset master data, balances, depreciation data and historical transactions from legacy environments or SAP ECC
• strong understanding of finance integration points across Procurement, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Project Systems and related finance processes
• experience supporting SAP Fiori applications and leveraging S/4HANA innovations, including Universal Journal and embedded analytics
• excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills
• experience providing production support and driving continuous process improvements
• experience with SAP RE-FX , Project Accounting, SAP Ariba integrations and experience working within the Financial Services is preferred
