Key responsibilities

- Price structured and mildly bespoke exotics with FX, Rates, Credit or Equity underlyings
- Perform iterations on trade attributes and market data for analysis
- Liaise with on-shore pricing teams and trading
- Develop and maintain existing pricing tools
- Help on daily pricing flow, term sheet, marketing material, ad-hoc analysis
- Help upgrade and maintain automated pricing tool in Python
o Add new products, features and unit tests
o Run regular reports
- Develop and maintain automated termsheet generation tool in excel vba.
- Keep track of the daily flows for market & client profiling, help on market color report
- Trade idea generation based on current market environment.
- AI development to facilitate process and generate innovation.

The team

The Shanghai Fixed Income Structuring & Pricing team is a core part of UBS Global Markets Structuring in APAC. The team supports the origination, pricing, execution and lifecycle management of a broad range of structured products across Rates, FX, Credit and Hybrid asset classes. The team works closely with Sales, Trading, Structuring, Quantitative Analytics and Technology functions across the region.
The team is responsible for daily pricing and execution support for structured note and OTC transactions, product analysis, termsheet preparation, automation initiatives and strategic infrastructure enhancements. We actively drive innovation through digitalization and AI-enabled solutions, aiming to improve operational efficiency, scalability and client responsiveness.
Working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, team members gain exposure to a wide spectrum of structured products, interact with stakeholders across APAC and contribute to the development of next-generation structuring and pricing capabilities.

Your skills and experience

- Effective communicator, fluent in both oral and written English.
- Self-motivated with independent thinking and practical mindset.
- Understand financial market instruments, e.g. option, future, swap etc.
- Python skill and experience with Github Copilot is a plus. Experience in Excel and Powerpoint.
