Key responsibilities
- Originate and develop new business opportunities across the wholesale market and third-party distribution channels.
- Drive the growth and penetration of our asset management solutions across target client segments in Australia.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders to deliver coordinated client strategies and exceptional outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and execution of business plans, sales strategies, and action plans to maximize business growth and commercial results.
- Establish, manage, and strengthen senior executive and C-suite relationships both internally and externally, with a focus on identifying and expanding strategic partnerships.
- Promote a broad range of investment solutions, including single and multi-asset class strategies, tailored to client objectives and evolving market needs.
- Maintain a disciplined and proactive approach to pipeline management, business development, and revenue generation.
- Coverage responsibilities will include: Investment consultants and research houses, Private wealth firms, National dealer groups, Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs), Other key wholesale market participants and strategic intermediaries

The team
The Wholesale Client Coverage (WCC) and Global Wealth Management (GWM) team forms part of our Asset Management business and is based in Sydney.
The team is responsible for positioning our investment solutions and product capabilities to both external wholesale distribution channels across Australia and internal wealth management partners. Supported by a dedicated local client service function, the team is recognized for its collaborative culture, strong performance, and client-centric approach.
Your skills and experience
- A minimum of 10 years' experience within the asset management or broader funds management industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of investment markets and asset management, ideally supported by advanced qualifications such as CFA, CIMA, Master of Applied Finance, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated expertise across single and multi-asset class investment solutions, including alternatives, index strategies, active fixed income, and customized portfolio solutions.
- A well-established network of key influencers, gatekeepers, decision-makers, and stakeholders within the Australian wholesale distribution market.
- A proven ability to originate, develop, and close business opportunities, supported by a strong track record of asset growth and sales achievement.
- Exceptional relationship management, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills.
- The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and results-oriented environment.
