Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing master data processes to ensure data quality and compliance across Finance. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, preparation of documentation, and facilitation of SAP MDG implementation to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
• Process Analysis & Governance
• Analyze, design and implementation of master data processes.
• Establish and maintain governance frameworks for master data.
• Documentation & Solution Design
• Prepare comprehensive documentation, including user stories and design.
• Propose effective solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices.
• Collaboration
• Work closely with business and technical teams within a dedicated working group.
• Contribute to master data design and ensure integration with business processes.
• SAP MDG Implementation
• Facilitate the deployment and configuration of SAP MDG.
• Support integration with existing enterprise systems.
• Data Quality & Testing
• Ensure data quality through governance and validation of master data.
• Assist with testing of master data changes during UAT and production parallel runs.

The team

The Finance Change & Technology teams have been re-organized to shift from functional to capability aligned Agile streams. You will be part of the Finance Change agile delivery team in the “General Ledger and Consolidation” crew within the Control capability stream. Group Finance change organization is currently driving cutting edge and futuristic transformational change onto SAP S/4 HANA Finance products over the next 3-4 years. We are responsible for maintaining the front-to-back finance general ledger and consolidation environment, including the accounting flows and control framework. We are also designing and building globally standard (multi-region / division / framework) and AI-enabled ledger-based capabilities and workflows. You will be part of this Finance transformational journey and have the unique opportunity to implement latest technology driven Finance capabilities within the banking industry in an agile delivery model.

Your skills and experience

• University degree or equivalent qualification (CA, CFA or MBA) with accounting qualification and proven experience in Finance / Banking
• Experience in SAP products within Financial Services industry
• Financial accounting and ledger skills with understanding of SAP MDG and master data management principles, workflows and governance processes
• Familiar with product lifecycle management
• Experience in process design, governance, and data quality frameworks
• Ability to create detailed documentation and user stories
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and agile delivery change management processes
• You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
