We are looking for highly driven, analytical, creative problem solvers to join our Brazil COO team to support part of the Global Markets trading business.

• developing an in-depth understanding of the business (e.g. products, front to back flows, revenues, costs, personnel, strategic plan, initiatives, etc.).
• helping define the global and local strategies and drive and implement new business initiatives.
• managing the Business Management portfolio, including strategic projects, front to back controls, regulatory initiatives and analyzing and resolving business issues.
• coordinating and managing relationships with Technology, Operations, Compliance, Finance and Risks.
• independent leadership of special projects while operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
• evaluating and mitigating risks through completing deep-dives and ad-hoc projects.

The team

You will be working in the Global Markets COO team in São Paulo. Your team is responsible for a broad portfolio of activities centered around acting as a strategic enabler to the business, overseeing the integrity of the front to back control environment, and managing the change portfolio.

Your skills and experience

• are well organized with a logical thought process
• have an ability to make timely and independent judgement decisions while working in a results driven environment
• have a capacity to understand new processes and quickly evaluate issues in order to prioritize work and design solutions to benefit the business
• have strong communication (oral and written), presentation and interpersonal skills to liaise with members of the organization at all levels
• have a consensus building and partnership approach. You are able to collaborate across different teams and comfortable working, and networking, across diverse businesses and personalities.
• analytical and capable of presenting and interpreting information to support your decision making
• have an interest in the financial markets
• you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
