Key responsibilities

Are you passionate about global and regional trends and uncovering investment opportunities, particularly within India and Asia ex Japan? We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious professional to support equity investment and research efforts. In this role, you will:

- conduct in-depth analysis of the India market and its listed companies and support Asia ex Japan, generating high-quality investment ideas supported by robust financial modeling and valuation frameworks.
- translate complex macro and micro developments, into clear, concise, and actionable insights for internal stakeholders and end clients.
- actively monitor market trends and react quickly to new information, ensuring timely updates to investment views via report publications.
- contribute to thematic ideas and thought leadership across regional and, where applicable, global equities.

The team

You will join the CIO Equities team in Singapore, focused on identifying differentiated equity market and stocks investment ideas ahead of the market. You will work closely with our regional and to some extent also global teams, contributing via bringing important markets into global research and strategy.

Your skills and experience

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, with a solid foundation in macroeconomics and corporate financial analysis.
- 3-7 years of experience in equity strategy or research, asset management, or a related financial services role.
- strong analytical skills with the ability to apply factor and financial models and assess valuations independently.
- excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to diverse audiences.
- hardworking, proactive individual with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
- team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across regions and functions.
- highly inquisitive, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- familiarity with statistical or data analysis tools as well as FactSet is an advantage.
- fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin or other regional languages is beneficial for client engagement and stock due diligence.
- you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
