Key responsibilities
You will:
• Investigate Reg E claims involving ACH, debit card, ATM, P2P, and other electronic transactions.
• Apply Reg E requirements to determine provisional credit eligibility, liability, and final claim outcomes.
• Review transaction data, statements, network rules, and supporting documentation to reach well-supported decisions.
• Ensure claims are processed within regulatory timelines and documented with clear rationale.
• Identify exceptions, trends, or potential control gaps and escalate as appropriate.
• Respond to internal inquiries, quality reviews, audits, and regulatory requests.
• Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in claims management systems.
• Contribute to process improvements, job aids, and training materials.

You will work within a Reg E claims and investigations team, partnering with peers, managers, and control stakeholders.
Your skills and experience
You have:
• Ideally 3–7 years of experience in banking operations, claims, disputes, or payments investigations.
• Working knowledge of Regulation E and consumer dispute handling.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases while meeting strict deadlines.
• Experience in a self-clearing bank or payments organization.
• Exposure to large scale transformation, automation, or platform modernization.
• You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.

Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New Jersey - Weehawken min USD 105000 - max USD 130000 /annum
The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
