Key responsibilities
Do you have a passion for the retirement plan business? Can you build collaborative relationships with Financial Advisors to provide solutions based on client needs? Are you effective at not only providing expert sales and product support but also identifying new business opportunities? We're looking for someone with these qualities who can:
• provide expert sales support to Financial Advisors by leveraging your knowledge of the retirement industry and UBS retirement and financial wellness capabilities and tools
• engage with Financial Advisors both remotely and in person to identify WWS opportunities within their current book or through prospecting efforts
• educate and promote the value of WWS products to Financial Advisors and the benefits they can provide to their clients
• develop Sales strategy for assigned territory to achieve WWS goals and coordinate with field management to host Regional, Market and Branch level meetings
• partner with key recordkeeping and investment firms to support financial advisors as well as support Retirement Plan Consultants with partnering opportunities, sales presentations and RFPs to help close business in an effective and efficient manner
• work with non-specialist Financial Advisors on WWS opportunities and support them through the sales journey, including discovery, product alignment and finals presentations
• conduct proactive outreach in support of strategic business priorities and other initiatives as well as track all activity leveraging sales CRM and other tools; participate in periodic business meetings to communicate impact and success stories
• collaborate effectively with retirement and financial wellness program management teams; provide feedback to program management and communicate accurate program information to Financial Advisors; provide feedback on program development initiatives, sales communications and marketing materials
• participate in education sessions with recordkeepers and other industry providers to deepen knowledge and identify ways to increase sales

The team
You’ll be joining the Workplace Wealth Solutions Sales Team. This team is focused on driving retirement and financial wellness sales and retention.
Your skills and experience
• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience
• ideally, 4+ years of experience supporting institutional clients and/or Financial Advisors
• detailed knowledge of retirement plans, including 401(k) plans
• good understanding of retirement consulting services, recordkeeping and other services providers
• specific knowledge of investment products including mutual Funds, CITs, and separate accounts
• excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• strong problem solving skills and ability to travel
• CRPS or other industry designation a plus
• Series 7 and 66 licensed (or 63 and 65)
• strategic thinker able to understand and prioritize client needs as well as curious and passionate striving for constant improvement
• committed to driving value for clients and effectively manage client expectations
• you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.

Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New York - New York min USD 120000 - max USD 160000
• United States - New Jersey - Weehawken min USD 120000 - max USD 160000 /annum
The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
