Key responsibilities

Are you passionate about FX trading? Do you know how to spread your enthusiasm about the markets to others? We are looking for someone who can:

• provide investment coverage to a country team of client advisors - recommend FX/Commodities ideas ranging from cash to derivative solutions
• oversee the traction and penetration of FX/Commodities amongst Wealth Management clients
• effectively communicate complex concepts via written and spoken channels, e.g. macro landscape, product payoffs, non linear risk analysis, etc
• navigate market risks and in turn aid clients with risk management

The team

You will be part of the Unified Global Markets team under Investment Bank. The team (FX Client Advisory Solutions team based in SG) provides FX/Commodities related education and actionable investment advisory and solutions to Wealth Management Client Advisors and their Clients in accordance with CIO’s views and relevant markets’ themes. The team also provides execution services for FX products such as spot/forwards, derivatives and structured products. You will be equipped with state-of-art research from our Chief investment Office (CIO) and the Investment Bank to provide the best FX/Commodities advisory and solutions to our HNW, UHNW & Family Offices segments.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree, post-graduate studies a plus
• between 8 – 10 years of experience in the FX/Commodities markets in a sales / dealing function in an Investment Bank or Private Bank
• strong understanding and knowledge of FX and its suite of products such as Spot/Forwards/Swaps, Derivatives and Structured Forwards
• strong awareness of risks associated with FX/Commodities products
• an excellent communicator with strong presentation skills, both oral and written Chinese and English, able to deliver information concisely. Fluency in business Mandarin is a plus as this role
• possesses the ability to comprehend market opportunities and understand the complex economic market variables
• good understanding and experience in margin trading
• passionate about your work and looking to build a career in FX/Commodities Advisory business
• strong integrity and possess sound understanding of regulatory environment
• self motivated and able to excel in a high stress environment
• a strong team player with high standards of ethical and professional behavior
• You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
