We are looking for someone to join our Group Treasury Financial Resource Management & Planning (FRMP) in Pune who will:
• set the strategic direction for capital, liquidity and funding planning, forecasting, pricing and optimization activities;
• take end-to-end ownership of key FRMP frameworks, ensuring robustness, transparency and alignment with UBS’ strategic objectives;
• lead complex analytical initiatives, translating regulatory, balance sheet and business developments into actionable insights;
• drive problem solving across ambiguous and fast-changing environments, balancing technical rigor with pragmatic decision-making;
• represent the FRMP function in senior governance and decision forums, clearly articulating trade-offs, risks and impacts.

The team

Group Treasury is responsible for the efficient management of the firm’s financial resources. Our mandate encompasses safeguarding the UBS’s liquidity, funding, and capital position above regulatory minimum requirements and within the risk appetite set by the Board of Directors, across the Group and key legal entities. Our mandate combines planning, forecasting, and steering of financial resources with their efficient allocation, in order to support business growth while meeting regulatory and prudential expectations.

You will be working in the Group Treasury Financial Resource Management & Planning team and collaborating
with our partner functions, developing and overseeing capital and funding plans, ensuring continuous forecasting of liquidity, funding metrics, as well as LRD, RWA and capital ratios.

Your skills and experience

• Extensive experience in resource management, capital, liquidity or funding planning within a complex financial institution.
• Strong technical expertise across balance sheet dynamics, capital and liquidity metrics, capital ratios, businesses and products.
• Deep understanding of regulatory and governance requirements impacting Treasury resource management.
• Proven track record of delivering high-impact solutions in environments with competing priorities and incomplete information.
• Decisive and accountable leader who takes ownership and drives problems to resolution.
• Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on engagement where required.
• Able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to senior, non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative partner who values diversity of thought and builds trust across functions.
• Resilient and adaptable, with a pragmatic mindset and a strong bias toward action.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving capability and sound judgment under pressure.
