We are looking for a Capital Reporting Specialist to support the calculation, analysis, and reporting of regulatory capital metrics while helping maintain a strong control environment and driving process improvements.
• execute Capital, RWA, Leverage, and SCCL (Single Counterparty Credit Limits) calculations and reporting in line with regulatory requirements, policies, and reporting guidelines
• perform calculations, adjustments, reviews, and analysis for UBS Intermediate Holding Company (IHC) and branch entities under US and Swiss regulatory capital rules for weekly and monthly reporting
• execute key controls across reporting processes, including variance analysis, reconciliations, adjustment reviews, and process documentation
• support strategic change initiatives and operating efficiencies, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and collaboration with key stakeholders
• act as a subject matter expert for assigned areas, providing guidance on calculations, reporting requirements, data sourcing, and data flows
• identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, strengthen controls, and improve data quality and efficiency

The team
You'll join the Capital Reporting team within US Regulatory Reporting. The team is responsible for the calculation, analysis, and reporting of Capital, RWA, Leverage, and SCCL (Single Counterparty Credit Limits) for the UBS Intermediate Holding Company (IHC), regulated by the Federal Reserve. The India team is an integral part of the global function and works closely with colleagues across Finance, Risk, and other business areas. This role reports to a manager based in the US and offers broad exposure to stakeholders and teams across UBS.
Your skills and experience
• bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred
• 3 to 6 years of experience (AO) or 8 to 12 years of experience (AD) in regulatory reporting, financial analysis, accounting, or a related finance function, preferably within the banking industry
• knowledge of Basel regulations, capital calculations, or regulatory reporting requirements is an advantage
• strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and general ledger data; advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and PivotTables
• strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across regions and functions
• proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
• strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a focus on accuracy and control
• experience with AI-enabled tools and a curiosity for improving processes and efficiency through technology is an advantage
