Do you enjoy working across a broad range of legal topics, managing sensitive cases, and partnering closely with business and control function? Your Role
As part of our team, you will provide pragmatic and business-oriented legal advice to a wide range of stakeholders across UBS in Switzerland. You will advise on banking products, services, strategic projects and complex legal matters while helping to identify and manage legal risks across the organization

The team

You will join an experienced and highly regarded legal team providing legal advisory and litigation management services across Western Switzerland, while collaborating closely with colleagues across Switzerland and internationally.

Our team combines broad legal expertise with a strong culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing and practical problem-solving. We are trusted advisors to business and support functions.

Our team plays a key role in supporting and advancing initiatives across the following areas:
• Legal advisory services relating to banking products, services, transactions and business operations
• Regulatory and legal matters impacting the Swiss banking industry
• Litigation, debt recovery and other complex or sensitive legal proceedings
• Strategic business projects and transformation initiatives
• Digital innovation and the deployment of technology-driven legal solutions, strategic projects, partnerships and digital business models

Your skills and experience

• Master’s degree in law from a Swiss university and admission to the Swiss Bar
• An LL.M., CAS or other relevant postgraduate qualification is an asset
• Initial post-qualification experience gained within the financial sector, an in-house legal department and/or a leading law firm
• Demonstrated knowledge of and strong interest in contract law, corporate law, commercial criminal law, banking and finance law, as well as debt enforcement and insolvency law.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and commercially minded approach
• Native French speaker with full professional proficiency in English; fluency in German and/or Italian is a strong advantage
