About the role

In your role as HR Administrator you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset. This role will provide a great opportunity to provide a high-quality HR service, offering transactional support and guidance to employees and managers across the Group.

Acting as the first point of contact for people practice and low-level employee relations queries, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our HR operations.

This role will involve delivering core HR processes across payroll and benefits, the employee lifecycle, our HR system, people reporting, and learning and development.

You will ensure all activity is carried out efficiently and in line with our company values, culture, confidentiality standards, and data protection guidelines.

What you will be doing

As a trusted part of the HR you will be responsible for:

  • Process payroll and benefit changes accurately, including wellbeing claims, employee loans, and private medical cover
  • Manage onboarding, leavers, and contractual changes, including absence and parental leave administration
  • Monitor and update the HR system with employee data and respond to HR system queries
  • Oversee the HR inbox, resolving queries promptly and escalating where needed
  • Provide basic ER support, including probation and sickness cases, escalating complex issues appropriately
  • Support HR projects, learning and development activities, and ensure HR files are maintained correctly
  • Handle general HR admin, raise POs, process references, and contribute to improving HR policies and procedures

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Experience in an administrative role; HR experience desirable but not essential
  • Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office; HR system knowledge is a plus
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection regulations
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail
