- Define and lead a multi‑year platform strategy that accelerates AI modernization, reduces complexity, and maximizes operational efficiency across API management and data replication capabilities.
- Partner with architecture, security, and product leaders to translate reference architectures and patterns into actionable roadmaps for platform evolution and cloud failover readiness.

- Plan and execute upgrades and feature adoption in line with vendor roadmaps and user needs
- Drive operational excellence and modernization initiatives to improve reliability and deployment throughput.
- Lead team to deliver reliable, low‑latency replication to modern cloud data stores.
- Set a vision that progressively reduces dependence on replication as application teams move “gold copy” data into modern stores; guide adoption and education to support the transition.
- Own SLAs/SLOs and resiliency response for platform services
- Ensure compliance with security standards, identity/authentication requirements, and governance
- Engage product owners, application teams, and enterprise stakeholders to prioritize outcomes and communicate progress and risks.
- Lead and develop technical specialists; build a learning culture, mentor engineers, and steward talent pipelines.
- Develops strong partners with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner and supports/drives escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.
- Leads the planning, development and implementation of a new technical product or multiple products with cross-divisional impact
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of five years related work experience. Two years of leading large cross-functional project teams preferred. Supervisory experience preferred
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required
- Technical leadership in platform engineering at scale, including API gateways and data integration/replication
- Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, multi‑region/active‑active architectures, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and SRE practices.
