Join the Plan Sponsor & Consultant Analytics (PSCA) organization and play a pivotal role in advancing the next generation of analytics, data products, and AI-enabled solutions for Vanguard's institutional clients. This product owner position combines strategic thinking, analytics expertise, and product leadership to drive innovative capabilities that support plan sponsors, consultants, advisors, and Workplace Solutions business partners. As a subject matter expert, you will help define and execute the vision, roadmap, and business strategy for AI-powered analytics solutions in partnership with the CAI organization to deliver measurable value to our B2B audiences. Working across business, technology, data science, and client-facing teams, you will identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and emerging AI capabilities to solve complex business challenges, enhance client experiences, and accelerate data-driven decision-making. This role requires a strong blend of consulting, product management, and analytics expertise. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating business needs into scalable AI solutions and influencing strategic priorities across the organization. Through partnership and thought leadership, you will help shape the future of Workplace Solutions data products while ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives, governance standards, and client outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

1. Leads product management activities for multiple products, or one strategic product, with cross-divisional impact. Drives the design and continuous improvement of AI/ML technical solutions.

2. Influences and collaborates with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the client experience. Ensures business outcomes are linked to business case drivers.

3. Coaches technical product teams towards AI/ML best practices and learnings. Oversees product teams' support of the messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.

4. Facilitates strong business support through working with team members to promote a consistent approach to decisions/impacts and client propositions. Drives connection across all appropriate internal and external stakeholders.

5. Leads the planning, development and implementation of new AI/ML technical products with cross-divisional impact. Defines and analyzes AI/ML markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.

6. Influences and employs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.

7. Participates in and influences ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.

8. Drives the team’s engineering practices in development, continuous integration, and automated deployment.

9. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of eight years related business experience, with at least four years of technical project management experience.
